The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT) and the Regional Network of Centres for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe (RECAS) are pleased to invite you to the final event of the project Youth Agency and New Political Imaginaries in the Western Balkans.
Over the past year, the project brought together young researchers, students, mentors, and regional partners to explore how young people across the Western Balkans imagine democratic futures, Europe’s role in the region, and the challenges and opportunities of eco-digital transformation.
The event will present the project’s key results, including:
- Findings and outputs from the RECAS Youth Fellowship programme;
- Insights from deliberative workshops organized across the Western Balkans;
- Regional perspectives on Generation Z and democratic participation;
- Outcomes and policy recommendations developed through the RECAS Policy Hackathon.
The event will gather researchers, policymakers, civil society representatives, students, and partners to reflect on the project’s achievements and discuss future directions for youth participation, democratic innovation, and regional cooperation.
