The Center for Advanced Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Tirana (CAPS UT) is dedicated to fostering research by providing comprehensive support to local and international postdoctoral researchers, equipping them with state-of-the-art facilities, and creating opportunities for academic growth and impactful policy contributions through a variety of scholarly activities and training programs.
The main objectives of the Center for Advanced Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Tirana:
- Recruiting local and foreign candidates from the region and beyond, offering facilities and a suitable environment, in carrying out their postdoctoral scientific research;
- Creating workplaces facilities and research equipment for young researchers;
- The center will organize also lectures, seminars, symposiums and other activities;
- The Members of this Center are expected to present their research work and produce research outputs in the form of academic publications, patents etc., but also produce relevant policy outputs in their area of expertise.
Also, this Center will:
- a) Issue its certificate at the end of the trainings;
- b) For the University of Tirana academic personnel who will participate in the training activities, the training hours will be calculated as an integral part of the teaching load of 1536 hours that they must complete and will be considered in the reduction of the total hours that they must complete.
