Na šta mislimo kada kažemo… Digitalizacija i prava intelektualne svojine

This publication presents a comprehensive analysis of the intersection between digitalization and intellectual property (IP) rights, proposing a policy framework aimed at fostering more inclusive protection and valorization of these rights. In the context of Serbia’s ongoing digital transformation and its EU integration process, the paper underscores the urgency of aligning national IP policies with both international and EU standards, while addressing the growing challenges posed by digitalization. The proposed reforms are designed to ensure that the benefits of the digital age are accessible to a wider range of social and economic actors, particularly disadvantaged groups, thus enhancing social justice and economic equality. Furthermore, the recommendations aim to facilitate the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting innovation, economic inclusion, and equitable access to knowledge. By emphasizing the importance of data-driven policymaking, transparent legislative processes, and the integration of digital tools, this work advocates for a regulatory environment that not only meets Serbia’s EU integration commitments but also aligns with broader global aspirations for sustainable development, inclusive growth, and digital equity.
