RECAS Youth Research and Publications Presented in Tirana

The findings of the regional research project Youth Agency and New Political Imaginaries in the Western Balkans, together with the publications developed from the project, were presented at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana.

The presentation was delivered by Gazela Pudar Draško (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade / RECAS Network), who introduced the main insights from the deliberative workshops conducted with young people across the Western Balkans.

The project formed one of the central strands of the previous RECAS programme cycle and was closely connected to its fellowship stream, with both focusing on how young people across the Western Balkans understand Europe, democracy, political participation, and the region’s possible futures.

The Tirana presentation offered an opportunity to revisit these findings in an academic setting and to discuss their broader relevance for research on youth, democratic participation, and the future of the Western Balkans.

The project publications, bringing together the main findings and reflections from across the region, are available in the RECAS Research Repository.
